To quantify the moisture content in these rocks were previously proposed two measures, named total and total moisture. The paper shows that such names incorrectly reflect the essence of these indicators. Actually it is the total mass humidity and moisture content. For a more complete and accurate assessment of the influence of moisture on physical properties of frozen rocks is proposed to use the total volume and absolute humidity and moisture content. Identified the relationship between all considered in the totals of moisture in frozen rocks.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Влага в мёрзлых горных породах и грунтах представлена в общем случае в виде двух компонентов – льда и незамёрзшей воды. Для количественной оценки содержания влаги в этих породах ранее были предложены два показателя, названные суммарной и общей влажностями. В работе показано, что такие названия неправильно отражают суть этих показателей. На самом деле это суммарные массовые влажность и влагосодержание. Для более полной и точной оценки влияния влаги на физические свойства мёрзлых горных пород в работе предложено использовать суммарные объёмные и абсолютные влажности и влагосодержания.
