📋 Author's Checklist
Before submitting your article, please verify the key requirements. This will expedite the initial check and increase the chances of successful peer review.
🗣️ 1. Language and Authorship
- Submission language: If the author team includes a researcher for whom Russian is a working language, the article is submitted in Russian.
- The list of authors includes only those who have made an intellectual contribution. The number of co-authors is no more than 5 (if more, please justify).
- The reference list has been verified for the presence of generated (non-existent) sources.
📄 2. Structure, Length, and Content
- Length and type:
• Full Article – approx. 25,000 characters (including spaces).
• Review – recommended 35,000 – 50,000 characters. - The reference list is sufficient to justify the relevance and completeness of the review and includes up-to-date international research.
- The article has a clear structure (e.g., IMRaD). The aims and objectives stated in the Introduction are addressed in the Conclusions.
- Abstract – structured (Relevance, Aim, Methods, Main Results, Conclusions).
- Keywords – 7–10 words/phrases.
🔬 3. Methods (for experimental work)
- Objects and materials are described (origin, composition, preparation method).
- Equipment is described (model, accuracy, precision, calibration/verification details).
- Conditions and procedure are described (scheme, duration, registration frequency).
- Data processing methods and statistical criteria are described.
- Number of repeated measurements, description of controls, and data exclusion criteria are provided.
🖼️ 4. Illustrations: Quantity and Quality
- Quantity: For Full Articles, figures and tables in total – no more than 8.
- Quality and formats:
- Graphs, diagrams, schemes: vector formats (.eps, .svg, .ai) or original source files.
- Photographs: high resolution (.tiff, .png). JPEG only for high-quality photos.
- All elements are sharp, axis labels (with units) and legends are readable.
- Figures are provided as separate files.
🔧 5. Technical Formatting
- Formulas are created with Microsoft Equation. For simple expressions and symbols, text notation is used (e.g., x², π).
- References – in Vancouver style, in-text citations: [1] or [1, 2].
- Units of measurement – in the SI system.
📎 6. Documents and Checks
- Expert Opinion (for authors from Russia).
I am an employee of a Russian organization and understand the procedure:- The opinion is not required now.
- If the article is accepted, the editorial office will request an opinion from my organization.
- Publication will not proceed without it.
- A license agreement signed by all authors is ready in PDF format.
Will be required after the article is accepted for publication. - Cover Letter. Attached optionally (recommended).
💰 7. Funding
- If the article was prepared under a grant/project requiring a publication fee (APC), this is indicated in the text.
- If the article exceeds the recommended length (see section 2.1) or the recommended number of illustrations (see section 2.1), I have reviewed the financial conditions (section 6.6.2).
- For guaranteed publication in the current year, the recommended submission deadline is June 1.
