Abstract

Some non-destructive methods for internal rock structures control are described, and examples of their use are given. Examples of the application of X-ray and neural tomography, scanning electron and acoustic microscopy are also presented. It is shown that the method of laser-ultrasonic structuroscopy is rather promising. Two examples of the use of laser-ultrasonic structuroscopy are given: measuring local porosity of geomaterial samples and monitoring changes of internal structure as a result of electromagnetic exposure.
